Policy Radar dashboard

View summary metrics, severity breakdown, changes over time, and recent policy change events.

Overview

The Policy Radar dashboard is your starting point for vendor policy monitoring. It shows how many vendors you are tracking, flags critical changes, and surfaces events that still need your attention.

Everything here updates on its own as scans run and new events come in — no need to refresh.

Stat cards

Six cards across the top of the page give you a snapshot of what is happening:

  • Vendors: How many AI and SaaS vendors you are currently monitoring
  • Targets: The total number of policy pages being tracked (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and so on)
  • Critical events: Policy changes classified as critical severity. The card highlights when this number is above zero.
  • Unreviewed: Events nobody has reviewed yet. Also highlights when above zero.
  • Hours saved: A rough estimate of manual review time saved, based on 15 minutes per page
  • Cost saved: Dollar savings estimate using a $50/hour legal review rate
Stat cards only appear after you have added at least one vendor. You can import the pre-built catalog directly from the empty state on this page, or visit the Vendors page to add them individually.

Changes over time chart

This area chart plots policy change volume over the past 30 days with two lines:

  • Total changes: Every detected change, across all vendors and document types
  • Critical: Only the changes classified as critical severity

Hover over any point to see exact counts for that day. A sudden spike usually means a vendor pushed several updates at once — worth a closer look.

Severity breakdown

Below the chart you will find a bar breakdown showing how events split across four severity levels:

  • Critical: Changes to data handling, liability, or compliance terms that could directly affect your organization
  • High: Notable changes to service terms, SLAs, or privacy practices
  • Medium: Updates worth reviewing in your next cycle, but not urgent
  • Low: Minor wording or formatting tweaks

Each bar shows the proportion relative to total events, with the count displayed next to it.

Recent events feed

The bottom section lists the 10 most recent policy change events. Each row includes the vendor logo, a severity badge, a direction indicator (restrictive, permissive, or neutral), the document type, and a short AI-generated summary.

Click any event to open its detail page where you can read the full analysis, view the diff, and take action. A View all button at the top right takes you to the full Changes page.
