Overview
VerifyWise includes a library of pre-built policy templates covering common AI governance topics. These templates provide a starting point for creating your own organizational policies, saving time and ensuring you address key governance areas.
Templates are organized by category and cover topics from AI ethics and fairness to regulatory compliance and vendor management. You can use templates as-is or customize them to fit your organization's specific needs.

Template categories
Policy templates are organized into the following categories:

Browsing templates
To browse available templates:
- Navigate to the Policy Manager
- Click the "Policy templates" tab
- Use the filter to narrow by category
- Use search to find templates by title
- Click on a template to view its full content

Template information
Each template in the list displays:
- ID: A unique identifier for the template
- Title: The policy name describing its purpose
- Tags: Categories and topics the template covers
- Description: A summary of what the policy addresses
Creating a policy from a template
To create a new organizational policy from a template:
- Click on a template in the templates list to open it
- Review the template content in the preview
- The title and content will be pre-filled from the template
- Customize the title if needed for your organization
- Edit the content to match your specific requirements
- Select appropriate tags (some may be pre-selected based on the template)
- Set the status (typically Draft for new policies)
- Save to create your new policy
