Announcing VerifyWise 1.5

What's new in 1.5

Version 1.5 is a full UI overhaul, with better integrations and some new management features. We listened to the community and rebuilt the experience to be more intuitive.

The interface is fresh and modern, and there's enterprise single sign-on through Microsoft Azure AD (Entra ID). Teams can now get real-time governance notifications in Slack, move around faster with a new icon set and manage external integrations securely through API keys management.

A full UI overhaul

The redesigned interface makes governance easier to do. VerifyWise 1.5 brings a cleaner, more modern look that's simpler to work in.

The design cuts the clutter so teams can focus on the work. Navigation has a clearer menu structure that gets you to key features faster, and the layout adapts to whatever device or screen size you're on.

The whole thing rethinks how governance software should look and feel, with usability driving the decisions rather than following along after them.

Microsoft Azure AD integration

Enterprise authentication and user management now run through Microsoft Azure AD (Entra ID). Single sign-on takes care of password fatigue, conditional access lets you apply your own security policies, and automatic provisioning syncs with Active Directory so onboarding is less manual. Permissions map to Azure AD groups for role-based access, and every authentication event is logged for the [audit trail](/lexicon/ai-model-audit-trail).

The net effect is faster, more secure deployment, central control for IT and one less password for everyone else.

Slack integration

The Slack integration keeps your team on the same page about governance without leaving the tools they already use. It pushes a notification the moment a new risk turns up, tracks compliance status across your AI portfolio and lets people share governance updates straight into a channel. You can tune the alerts to what you care about and act on governance tasks from inside Slack.

We built a visual language to make the platform easier to read at a glance, with consistent symbols for governance concepts. It's based on Lucide icons, a clean and consistent icon library, used throughout VerifyWise.

API keys management

API keys management gives you secure credential handling for integrations with outside tools and services. Keys live in one secure place, with role-based access deciding who can see and manage them. The system watches key usage for anything unusual, supports automatic rotation and keeps a full log of when each key was created, changed and used.

The risk management module now does automated assessment with risk scoring parameters you can set yourself, so you can identify and rank concerns quickly. Risk heatmaps show how risk is spread across your AI portfolio at a glance. It tracks remediation from start to finish and maps each item to the regulatory requirement behind it, so you always know where you stand.

The task management system turns governance activities into trackable workflows

The task management system makes governance work move faster. Tasks route automatically based on role and expertise, and a template library covers the common activities so you're not starting from scratch. Progress tracking shows where each task stands in real time, and built-in commenting and approval workflows keep everyone on the same page.
