Dr. Segun brings a wealth of experience in AI governance, ethics, and policy, making him a valuable addition to our mission of democratizing AI governance.

He is a Senior Researcher at the Global Center on AI Governance and a Research Fellow at multiple institutions, including the African Observatory on Responsible AI and the AI Ethics Group at the University of Pretoria.

His past work includes leading AI innovation initiatives for the United Nations and INTERPOL, shaping responsible AI strategies in law enforcement, security, and defense.

As a globally recognized expert, Dr. Segun has published extensively on AI ethics, algorithmic audits, and responsible AI practice and has delivered keynotes at major conferences worldwide.

His insights will be instrumental in strengthening VerifyWise’s role as a leader in open-source AI governance.
